Awareness Program on POCSO Act was conducted at BAPATLA COLLEGE OF PHARMACY, Bapatla on 12.05.2026. Mr. Ch. Ramanjaneyulu Garu and Mr. D Kiran Kumar Garu, both panel advocates at Bapatla civil court were the chief guests and addressed the audience, with the objective of creating awareness among students about child safety, legal protection, and personal rights. The resource persons highlighted the importance of the POCSO Act, various forms of child abuse, preventive measures, and the legal provisions available for the protection of children. The session also emphasized the importance of reporting inappropriate behaviour and creating a safe and secure environment for students. Students actively participated in the awareness program and gained valuable knowledge regarding child rights, safety measures, and legal awareness. The program was highly informative and beneficial in promoting awareness and responsibility among the participants. Principal, Dr. T E Gopalakrishna Murthy, management, faculty members, and students expressed their gratitude to the speaker for delivering an enlightening and impactful session.
