NSS Foundation Day
KITS NSS Celebrates NSS Foundation Day KITS NSS celebrated NSS Foundation Day with great enthusiasm and participation from students and faculty members. The programme was organized to commemorate the establishment of the National Service Scheme (NSS) and to highlight its significant role in developing responsible, disciplined, and socially conscious youth. The programme focused on creating awareness among students about the objectives and values of NSS, including community service, social responsibility, leadership, teamwork, discipline, and active participation in nation-building activities. The event emphasized the importance of contributing to society and encouraged students to become responsible citizens by actively engaging in community-oriented initiatives. During the programme, students were encouraged to understand the importance of volunteerism and selfless service. The significance of NSS activities such as cleanliness drives, blood donation camps, environmental awareness programmes, health and hygiene campaigns, literacy initiatives, and community development activities was highlighted. The session also motivated students to develop essential life skills such as leadership, communication, decision-making, empathy, cooperation, and problem-solving. Students were encouraged to step forward, take responsibility, and make meaningful contributions to the welfare of society. The NSS Foundation Day celebration successfully inspired students to embrace the spirit of “Not Me But You” and encouraged them to work towards creating a better and more responsible society. The programme concluded with a message urging students to actively participate in NSS activities and carry forward the values of service, unity, discipline, and social responsibility.
