KITS NSS Organizes Awareness Programme on Drug Abuse KITS NSS organized an Awareness Programme on Drug Abuse for students with the objective of creating awareness about the harmful effects of drug and substance abuse on physical health, mental well-being, academic performance, and social life. The programme focused on educating students about the causes and consequences of substance abuse and the importance of making informed and responsible choices. The session highlighted the adverse effects of drugs on individuals, families, and society, while emphasizing the importance of prevention, early intervention, and seeking professional support when required. NSS volunteers actively participated in the programme and encouraged students to adopt healthy lifestyles, positive habits, and constructive ways of managing stress and challenges. Students were also encouraged to stay away from harmful substances and to promote awareness among their peers and within the community. The programme successfully created awareness among students about the dangers associated with drug abuse and emphasized the importance of self-discipline, healthy living, peer support, and professional guidance.
