Yuva Connect
The “Yuva Connect” Programme, organized on the occasion of National Sports Day 2026, was successfully conducted at TJPS College, Guntur, with the active participation and support of the NSS Volunteers of KITS College. The programme was organized under the MY Bharat (Mera Yuva Bharat) initiative of the Department of Youth Affairs, Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, with the objective of connecting youth with the national vision for sports, fitness, youth-led development, and Viksit Bharat@2047. The programme provided an important platform for students and young people to receive the vision of the Hon’ble Prime Minister on sports, fitness, discipline, and youth-led nation building through a virtual address. It also facilitated interaction with sportspersons, public representatives, dignitaries, and youth, inspiring participants to contribute towards the development of the nation. The NSS Volunteers of KITS College actively participated in the programme and extended their valuable support in making the event successful. They contributed to participant coordination, registration, seating arrangements, and venue readiness, reception of dignitaries, programme assistance, and maintaining discipline. Their enthusiastic involvement reflected the true spirit of NSS volunteering, teamwork, leadership, and community service. A significant component of the programme was the Yuva Samvaad, which provided an opportunity for young participants to share their ideas and aspirations on civic responsibility, future-ready skills, volunteering, and youth-led development. The inspiring interactions encouraged students to become responsible, skilled, disciplined, and socially committed citizens. Overall, the Yuva Connect Programme at TJPS College, Guntur, was successfully conducted as a meaningful youth engagement initiative. The active involvement of KITS NSS Volunteers significantly contributed to its smooth execution and reinforced the values of youth empowerment, sports promotion, community service, and nation building towards Viksit Bharat@2047.
