World Organ Donor Day The NSS Unit of KITS Engineering College actively participated in the World Organ Donor Day programme organized in Guntur, with the objective of creating awareness about the importance of organ donation and its life-saving impact. The programme was successfully conducted with the active participation of NSS volunteers, students, officials, and members of the public. The programme was graced by the presence of the Chief Guest, Sri. Sathya kumar yadhva AP health minister who emphasized the importance of organ donation and encouraged the public and youth to contribute towards this noble cause. An active and inspiring public speaker addressed the gathering and highlighted the significance of organ donation, creating awareness among participants and addressing common misconceptions. The session motivated the audience to understand how organ donation can provide a second chance at life to patients in need. The NSS team members of KITS College actively participated in the programme and extended their support in various activities. Their enthusiastic involvement reflected the true spirit of NSS volunteering, social responsibility, compassion, and community service. Overall, the programme was successfully conducted as a meaningful awareness initiative, inspiring the participants to support organ donation and spread the powerful message of “Donate Organs, Save Lives.”
